Hivewind technology

Hive Wind Energy offers two design variants —HiveWind Soft and HiveWind Stiff— designed with standardized components to be fabricated in cost-competitive regions and easily transported for final assembly near the installation site. This approach reduces CAPEX and enables faster deployment, flexible logistics, and access to diversified supply chains across key floating offshore wind markets. Both concepts are built on the same principles.

HiveWind Soft

HiveWind Soft is a modular semi-submersible steel platform designed for moderate metocean conditions. Its soft-stiff configuration with six flat-panel hexagonal columns ensures enhanced stability, efficient load distribution, and lightweight construction.

HiveWind Stiff

HiveWind Stiff is a modular cross-shaped semi-submersible steel platform for harsh metocean conditions. Its stiff-stiff layout with five flat-panel columns, four hexagonal units at the corners and a central octagonal column, ensures high stability and structural efficiency for next generation WTG.
